What causes a constant headache encompassing entire head. Has lasted about 8 months?
I have had a constant headache, every day, all day, for about 8 months. If I lean over it feels like someone hit me with a club on the forehead. At times the headache becomes more severe and then tapers off. Have had CT, MRI, CT angio, all negative. Have tried numerous medications both prescription and OTC without any success. Do not have blurred vision. Do have hay fever type allergies.
There are losts of good answers, but the best answer:

What about getting your eues tested, could be bad eyesight causing this headache, its not normal to have a headache for as long as you have.Make an appointment with the optician lol.

My answer would be that you have something called a “cluster headache”. Unfortunately, cluster headaches (according to my source anyway) go away after about 3 months…
However, I went through a period of time in my life where I had the symptoms you describe for about a year. Turned out that it was a combination of stress as well as the fact that I needed glasses.
As for treatment, I know my doctor has mentioned to me many times that she uses Effexor XR for her migrane headaches, so maybe you could ask about something like that… I use Cymbalta (30mg) for chronic abdominal pain and it works well (not perfectly mind you, but it makes my life livable).
Hope this helps at least a little bit…

sinus problems can cause a headache that increases when you bend over. Try rinsing your sinuses with a saline solution made with boiled and cooled water and sea salt. 1/2 teaspoon to a cup of water. Cup the salt-water in your hand and inhale through one nostril while you hold the other closed. Then do the other side. It takes a few tries to get used to the feeling. The water will come out your mouth and give your sinuses a good cleaning.
