If you missed school, you missed school, regardless for what reason. So there isnt anything you can do so they dont count it against you.

If this is something that is happening frequently through out the year, I recommend homeschooling. Especially if you need to be in a quiet and dark place, like your home.

Sorry. 🙁

Can a chiropractor really help resolve migraine headaches?

Can a chiropractor really help resolve migraine headaches?
My wife has had migraine headaches for 30 years. Maxalt pills are what help her, but it only lessens the pain, and it makes her very woozy and with no energy. Would it be worth it to go see a chiropractor to see if they can find a pinched nerve or something? Thanks!

Really depends on how bad the pain is and where is it. also how long she had it. But yes, chiropractor specialize in that sort of thing because back problems can also lead to headaches.

I have migraine problems and over the counter anti-inflammatories, such as advil don’t help me at all. I’ve gotten prescription meds that help, but the best thing is to smoke a bit of weed. It’s natural and won’t create stomach ulcers. Sleeping in a dark quiet environment always helps also. Calming, herbal teas can always help also.

What types of foods prevent a migraine headache?
I suffer from migraine headaches. I usually get a really bad one right before I get my period. I remember reading somewhere that you can eat certain food and avoid others to help in the drop of hormones. I have high blood pressure so I can’t take birth control pills to help this.

certain cheeses, foods with nitrates/preserved meats and wines can aggravate migraines. I used to have them and got a med called Fiorinal or butalbitol for monthly migraines. don’t have them anymore since it’s gone now and don’t miss it either. they were unbearable.

This sounds more like a tension headache than a migraine… usually improved by massaging back of neck to ease tight muscles, and maybe using some of that “4-Head” stick available from chemists, not medicine but aromatherapy I think.
Hope you find your solution
