Actually the best one is the one you find to take your migraine away. Everyone is different…Imitrex is good. My wife uses Maxalt. Firoicet is old…prob. not the best choice. There are someother newer ones as well. Make sure you have a complete evaluation of your All kinds of Headache before being prescribed migraine drug. even though your doctor doesn’t order a Ct scan (at least)…go somewhere else.

Is fioricet a drug that would be sought after by a street dealer?
I have a prescription for fioricet for my migraines, but a substantial amount have “disappeared” after having people to our home…is this a sought after medication on the street?

Well, it seems to be a combination of acetaminophen (the ingredient in Tylenol), caffeine and butalbital, which is a barbiturate (muscle relaxant). The most “sought after” ingredient in this drug would probably be the barbiturate part, because it is a muscle relaxant and can promote a feeling of calmness.
