Can someone identify this headache and suggest some natural cures?
My uncle had a persistent headache at the top of his head. Massaging makes it worse. He had it after hearing about an emotional trauma.
Can someone please tell me what the headache might be and the natural ways in which we can cure the headache?
Thanks.

Any persistent headache should be discussed with your doctor. Its always better to rule out underlying causes than to assume anything.
Once the doctor has ruled out anything which requires treatment, drinking plenty of fluids, avoiding alcohol and caffeine, plenty of sleep, gentle exercise – they can all help reduce the effects of such a headache. If he feels stressed, Rescue Remedy is a natural product that just needs a few drops to have a calming effect.
But see the doctor first.

hey! sad 2 hear ’bout ur uncle but try this-
it is remedy which is used in south asian countries. press his ring finge’s tip;tightly for 5-7mins. hope h gets well soon.
His headache is caused by tight muscles in his neck. Those muscles go to the top of his head and when they are tight at the top they pull on other muscles to give him pain all around his brain, his headache. When those muscles get tight anything else around the area is going to irritate them even more so the massaging doesn’t help. To get rid of the pain he has to free up the muscles, releasing them from the tight grip they have in his neck and here’s how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax the body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
